First of all, delicious waffles! Reasonable prices, and many options to choose from. Friendly stuff, and nice interior(love this turquoise walls and chairs) . We had a custom waffle(really big so enough for two people) with two scoops of ice cream, two toppings and sause + tea and coffee. It cost us only around 12 pounds!
The lady who owns this is amazing. The food is delicious and great for students! Friendly relaxed atmosphere. Great place to chill out and unwind.
The food was delicious but we had to wait a very long time for it. It would have been nice to have our drinks (2 bottles of pop) whilst we waited, but they didn't come until the food came.This probably cost them a second drink order as we would have had a second with our food.
De Melo is a relaxing and much more affordable alternative to its competitor creams, personally I like both but when it comes down to saving money, De Melo is the goto. The music is good, the sofas are comfortable. I recommend "The Melo one" or "The blue one" from the menu, as these are two of my favourites.
Happy kids and mummy with today's treat. Delicious homemade ice cream. Lovely friendly, relaxed and welcoming feel to the place. Been many times, much prefer to other dessert places. Support local businesses.
