I love Stewart part, there is just so much on offer. If you like your trees you will find a lot to love about Stewart park aswell, there are some wonderful examples with my favourite been the redwoods with their paper feel bark, wonderful. Then there is the flower garden , not to mention the animals to see.also for kids there is a really good play area and to top all of that a free entry museum portraying the life of captain cook.do visit the cafe while your there
Great for walking the dogs. Fantastic play park for children. Animals. Lakes. Captain Cook birthplace. Great disabled access
A very popular and well used park. There's always something going on. An excellent and well priced cafe. Good bus route too.
Good park to bring your kids to exert energy. Plenty of parking (free), the play park is decent and well maintained, there are a couple of options for food and there are also animals to see. All in all, a decent couple of hours out.
Lovely park with 2 decent cafes and a play park for the kids. Farmers markets held regular in the square among many other events thought the year for adults and kids alike. Underrated and underused by many IMO.
