Not a great hotel, found a bloody tampon in my bathroom the first night I stayed here and bodily hair all over the bathroom floor. People where smoking weed in the hotel. We reported it and all the lady said is i will report it to my manager and guess what nothing was done the hotel stank of it on week two for the hole week. Unfortunately had stay here over the course of four weeks due to courses I was attending, now when it came to dinner time we where sectioned off from the rest of the paying guests we felt like middlesbroughs scum the food they bought out was unbelievably poor, just look at the starter given last night. Our employer was paying 25 pound per night for food and we got scraps of food. We weren't allowed to order off normal menu we had to pick from three mains every evening. The staff didn't care about are thoughts or comments at all. The parking areas are poor.
Christmas Corporates Dinner 2018.40! Small portions, no entertainment.No value and felt ripped-off.Disco with a dance floor for about 30people, in a room of around 250 people!!Company going else where next year!
Great staff. High speed internet. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.Hotel parking is limited but there is paid parking 20 meters away from the hotel.
The gym is small but not usually crowded especially for a Saturday. The gym has all necessary equipment. The pool is large and clean the jacuzzi can fit a max of 6 people. The steam room is amazing can fit a max of 6, there was also a working sauna , sadly I didn't get to use it. The locker room is really good and general ambiance was great and peaceful but staffs could try to be more friendly and wear more smiles on their faces regardless of the customer's race, age or gender
The gym could do with an upgrade. The equipment hasn't been updated for years. It's old and out of date. The chain on the rowing machines are rusty for example. Phone holder on the treadmill is falling off. You get better equipment at other gyms. The pool area is nice but once more than three people are in there it's a nightmare to swim. Staff are very good though. Always very helpful and friendly.
