Such a great little museum & for free. Amazing collection of birds & eggs - very interesting. I took my 9 & 11yr olds who found it really interesting

Amazing museum!!! I'd highly recommend a visit to anyone! It's an amazing local resource, we will definitely be going back soon! We had a lovely afternoon and wished we had more time. Staff were fantastic, so helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service. A must to visit!!!
Been visiting here for about 50 years now. Recent updates and alterations have produced a splendid amalgamation of the older and anachronistic exhibits (taxidermy and a very non PC but phenomenal collection of bird eggs) with newer local history and travelling exhibits. And the now mandatory museum shop. And it's still free! Well worth a visit if you've never been
