Wide open spaces, with views over to the Eston Hills. Plenty of football pitches that are well used. Paths are often used for running.Cycle paths run from Ladgate Lane to Devil's Bridge, then onwards to Albert Park, as well as linking up with The Avenue of Trees and Acklam Road.Being so flat and open, it can get extremely windy, so the place could do with some trees to provide some shelter and slow the wind down.A tributary of Newham Beck crosses the flatts in the south east, which adds some interest.
