Husband just been for indicator bulb for my car. He told the assistant that it was a candle bulb but assistant said he was wrong and sold him bulb which he insisted was correct. Got home and what a surprise - wrong bulb. Now have to go back and get correct bulb. Assistants at this Halfords don't have a clue.
Used the online tool to choose a roof rack for my son's Renault Clio 3 door. Used the reg number and the system correctly identified the car. When he opened the package, it was for a 5 door Clio and the fittings wouldn't fit his car. Took the kit back to this store to exchange and staff could not identify the correct fittings. They offered to solve the problem by selling us an alternative kit, for twice the price, and couldn't even guarantee that this would fit. Ended up getting a refund (hence the one star, rather than none) and buying elsewhere. Now have a roof rack which fits perfectly. very disappointed with disinterested customer service and check carefully before trusting the roof rack tool on the Halfords website.
Recently took bike wheel for 2 new spokes,the wheel is black they put silver spokes in without getting in touch first to let me know,when i went 2 collect seen the spokes& complained,they ordered black ones,i took wheel in 2 get these fitted which took 3 days,even though was told would be next day.they when i got wheel ome& put it on bike had a flat spot in wheel so took bike back as i was at work with it explained to guy at counter what problem was only 2 get phone call saying nothing wrong so went& showed technician the problem. Then got phone call saying that upon trying 2 fix problem had snapped another spoke& would either need full set of spokes or new wheel at their expense after aving bike for 5 days. Got phone call saying new wheel on bike&all sorted,cycling bike home had trouble shifting gears obviously not reset after the work done 2 wheel,also no valve nut put back on.think halfords need 2 work on their customer care& make sure that bikes are properly repaired especially after 3 times being in shop
Just after a cheap bicycle since mine the rear gears are worn/slippingTook some time toget what i was after since the bikes on show in the showroom, they did,nt have in stock. !!!But Brian showed great tenacity to help me, many thanks.
I cant thank Dan and Ash enough for their help today. I had an issue with one of my windscreen wiper blades not fitting properly and they both took turns until it was fixed and fitted correctly. They went above and beyond to make sure I left happy. Thank you again.
